Artemis studied the exterior of the building. It wasn't one of the taller ones and the door looked like it could be pushed open fairly easily, which was obviously a good thing. She could shift and open it that way, but that seemed like it would have been an awful lot of work and she didn't want to make Denali feel bad, since she didn't know if Denali could shift yet. She didn't think that her adopted brother could. She didn't even think that Silvano or Parker could, and the three of them were older than Denali.
Trotting eagerly to the door, Artemis pushed it open with her body, bounding inside happily. She was very excited to be exploring so far away from home! Soft blue eyes widened as she took in the dust inventory, the bits of light filtering through the dirty window just hardly enough to see by. There were shelves and buckets of items everywhere, both soft and hard, boxed and open. "Denali, lookit! This looks like Parker's sheep!" she said, bouncing over to a bin with fluffy white sheep stuffed animals and very soft orange duck plushies.
