Artemis was busy inspecting the bin of plush lambs and ducks (and colorful bunnies, too, she discovered), and she hardly noticed when Denali wandered away from her to look at other things. She stood with her two front paws draped over the edge of the bin and she was nosing through the contents of the bin excitedly, trying to see if there was something in there that she could bring back for Parker to be a friend of her lamb. Maybe she would just bring her one of the pink or purple bunnies, because they were cute and Parker liked cute things.
All of a sudden, though, the crash drew her away from the bin quickly, concern for Denali coursing through her. She looked down each aisle as she moved quickly, searching for the source of the crash. When she finally found it, Denali was trying desperately to get into one of the boxes. "Are you okay, Denali? What happened? What's that thing?" she asked, meaning the box he was trying to get into. She looked at one of the ones of the floor, but it didn't answer her question.
