The silver girl watched with a stifled grin as he tore at the box, excited to see her friend want something so much that he was attacking it. It was sad, though, because she knew that things had just fallen on him, and he might be hurt, and he also seemed to be getting very frustrated. It saddened her to see him so frustrated, so Artemis was going to do something she wasn't yet comfortable doing in front of him if he wanted her to.
"If you want, I could shift and try and open it for you," she suggested tentatively. Though she did it often, Artemis was still very new to shifting, and she was much more comfortable in her usual four-legged form. The optime form was useful and exciting for the fact that it was new, but it was not quite what she was most comfortable with.
