Seyonne was glad that there was some kind of understanding to his limits. He wasn't glad that he had to walk for who knows how long before he could rest though. Sure, he could ask Gabriel how far it was, but he didn't want to appear like he was complaining. Besides, either he was paranoid, or the wolf was watching how he walked. As he started walking, he made an effort to take step after step smoothly and without any kind of sound or motion that suggested pain. After a few yards, though, he found it easy to ignore the pain. It really wasn't that bad when compared to the all over ache of falling out of a tree - which he had experienced plenty of times when he was still practicing the art of climbing. He fell into an easy stride just off Gabriel's right flank, eyes and ears alert for any sign of the wolf's clan.
He wondered how he would be greeted, and how he should respond. He also wondered who was in charge, and where Gabriel fell in the hierarchy. He looked at the wolf quizzically and decided that he was surely high up. The wolf had history, and carried himself with grace and power. How long should he, and could he, stay in this place? Perhaps coming in with Gabriel would give him an edge and the others would accept him easier. Packs, or clans in this case, tended to be fairly close knit, this he knew. He was content to travel in silence should Gabriel want it. His own questions could be preoccupy him for quite awhile.
