The boy knew that he had been rude; knew this well. Instead of scolding him for this, the dark adult smiled at him. That single curve on her lips made the proud beast within his chest roar slightly less ferociously, for she had decided against making a move that could put the boy’s silly pride in its place, despite her having the ability to do so. Yes, he could almost warm up to the woman immediately. She used kind words and kind voice as she spoke to him; asking for permission to join him. The query tempted forth an expression of doubt and concern plain on the young Lykoi’s face, but it quickly evolved into accept. He nodded, allowing her to walk with him.

Not only did she wish to join him on his walk, but she even sought his assistance in something important. Now, he did not know who this grandmother of hers was, but he was proud to be asked anyway. Sensing that she was waiting for him to start moving again, tiny puppy paws started up the pace they had lost some long moments ago. It was all right, there was enough beach for two. ”Maybe you can walk on the beach,” the young male suggested. Hackles rose as he stepped into the cold sea water, but the woman did that as well and therefore he would be brave. He thought his suggestion was excellent, for he imagined it could be pleasant just to walk and watch the sky and water collide.

The white woman wanted to know his name as well. Itachi gulped down a large breath of air; pushing his little chest forward in an arrogant manner perceived only as adorable for elders that could remember how self-sentered and stubborn a young child could be. ”I’m Itachi,” Her kindness had no doubt softened his resolve against her. It wasn’t fair if he was the only one that exposed his name. ”You?”
