Eyes widened in alarm as her jaws parted and reached for him. For a moment he was stunned, and felt her teeth hook on to the loose skin by his neck and pull. The boy could feel his muscles turn into jelly, but he was merely long enough in her grasp to be transferred to her back. Dull claws scratched against the black fur and he feared for his balance, never before having been picked up in such a way. Her body moved and he felt panic crush against his little body; unsettling him further.
A puppy growl rose from his young throat as he snapped after a tuft of her dark fur, losing his balance and sliding off her. No one touched Itachi without permission! They were related, but he did not know her.
