Youthful curiosity was what usually allowed the day’s hours to pass without stretching into an excruciating, endless gap of time and space. The old soul in the young body believed he preferred to wander across unknown soil in solitude, but perhaps that was because he knew little else. It was the world outside that triggered his intrigue the most, but it was possible that it was merely natural. Every puppy had to wonder about what lay beyond the safety of the clan’s provocative borders.

Dark crimson and artist’s purple peered at this relative of his, weighting her words inside his closed mind. Certain individuals would frown if they were to discover that he was moving about outside the Inferni territory without allowance. The young Lykoi prince had never truly made any attempts to see how far he could bend his grandmother’s patience, and was not certain if he wished to take that step just yet. He needed Kaena to remain trusting of him. Though, it was tempting, of course.

The scarlet eyed male decided that it would be to his advantage to accept his aunt’s friendly offer, though he remained convinced that he would have gotten more out of it if he had been alone, but there was no reason to shackle with an adult that only wanted to be his friend and please his puppy ego. The young one appreciated her attempt to reach out to him, and though he believed she would ultimately fail, he was willing to allow her to remain a friendly element in his world, and he would be likewise in hers.

”Okay.” his one worded reply revealed; still as frozen water, but not as fragile. Blonde tail waved gently behind his puppy form as he waited for the adult to take bold control of the scene and steer them out into new wonders.
