Pale eyes remained on the strange crimson and lilac, trying to detect hints of his mother. He wouldn’t allow himself to see it, though he was sure his suspicions were correct. If that was the case, Silas would need to keep an eye on the boy. He had vowed to protect both Halo and her son, even if they had not wanted his protection. And it seemed as if the boy certainly did not.

Milky teeth gleamed as the pup made his way around Silas, arching his path as to keep a sizable distance. The Russian merely watched him for a moment, wondering what it was that he was doing. And where was he going? The youth had not bothered to answer. "Does your mozher know you’re out here alone?" Silas had not seen Halo with the child before, but hadn’t she said something about him living with his grandmother? Pale eyes left the child for the briefest of moments to sweep the area, but came up with nothing. Just beyond the borders of Inferni, it was just he and the child. The child was young and, seeing as how many had their biases against the clan, it was not smart for him to be out here alone. Silas would not let him off as easily as the child most certainly hoped.

Frozen in place, icy gaze followed the movement of the child. Silas did not take another step, though the child would not get far without providing some answers first.
