Anann sighed, her breath hung in the fridged night air as she looked down at the bottle that swinging from its neck between two of her fingers. The square shaped bottle was filled with a brown liquid and though the label had been worn away and the seal yet unbroken Anann knew the contents well. A fiery brown water known as whiskey. It was last resort she wasn't sure she wanted to spring back on just yet. Hoping that maybe if she let herself find a few moments of clarity she could come to some understading of the wrenching feeling in her gut. Perhaps even sleep then, without the little aide she carried along
A dream had awoken her and left her with a haunted feeling. It was a familiar sensation, one she could not put her finger on or make make any sense of it. All memory of the dream had vanished the moment her eyes had opened. She had tried to simply snuggle up against Anatoliy and spring back asleep, but it had been a futile attempt. And so she had grown restless, deciding perhaps a walk in the cool night air would clear her mind. She was not quite sure what had prompted her to bring the bottle with her.
Aimless, she wandered. Not carrying at all in what direction her feet carried her, even if it be in circles. What she was searching for could only be found on the inside. Everything had been going well since Anatoliy had moved in with her. There was no obvious reason for the feelings of unease the dream had brought upon her. Maybe it was just that, a dream and nothing more. Coming across an old fallen log, she took a seat. Her gaze turning upward to take in the night sky. Wishing she find the tranquility within that was so easy to find the world that surrounded her.
