His words were so hard to imagine. That many books in one place? She owned one and that was because it had been gifted to her graciously by a friend. But to have a huge collection of books, it made her wonder what she was missing. She was illiterate but she had little need to read or write, but was that because she never knew what it was like to experience it all?
I will have to visit someday then!
She said smiling. Maybe she could teach herself how to read or something. She thought if there were so many books there it wouldn’t be so hard to learn. She wondered if the cat could read, is that why he chose the library… it made her feel ridiculously low thinking a cat… who had no hands… could read and she could not.
