Got it up finally XD; 300+

The day was cold, but the Japanese woman felt the need for fresh air; the comfort of her small house in Wolfville was not cutting it for her at the moment. She had on her heavy autumn kimono but she had worn some extra garments under it to help keep her warm. She had figured that Setsuna would wish to stay in the relative warmth of the house, but the feline had decided to accompany her friend out today. They had walked side by side for a while, but eventually Tsukiko could tell that Setsuna was getting chilly and she picked the feline up, cradling her against her chest. They could help keep each other warm.

The foreigner had not traveled out this way in the Dahlian territory before; in fact her exploring through the territory had been horribly minimal. Part of it was that she was simply not used to having the leisure to go walk about in the open and wild landscape. Largely though it was her feeling of not belonging and her struggling to come to terms with everything that had turned her world so upside down. There were not many she had met here that made her feel much at ease, but Tsukiko knew that it was likely just as much her fault as theirs. She was from a completely different place and culture. Even though she knew the language, it was difficult to connect.

The sound of running water drew the moonlit fey's attention, ears pressing forward. It did not take her long to find the sound's source, a good sized river running towards the sea. There was frost on the grass all about the spring, but the water still flowed in its eternal rhythm. Tsukiko stood, Setsuna still in her arms, and simply stared at the water, lost in its soothing vibrations.
