ooc;; sorry for the wait dear!

His nephew's voice still rang in his ears but he had already begun to run now. What Range had said was not terribly important so the young Stormbringer male let it slide for now. He seemed to be considering something as they both took off and after a few heartbeats Saul was far ahead of him. He slowed immediately, a small smile gracing his lips when his nephew realised the gap was too big. He picked up speed and overtook Saul which was what he had wanted in the first place. With Range ahead of him he could watch for any danger both in front and behind and his nephew would be guarded if anything were to come out and get them. The ground had almost entirely shifted to sand and his lolloping gait turned sluggish. In the end he came to a stop, watching Range sniff the sand.

He eyes widened in delight as his nephew caught sand particles on the end of his nose. Saul had learnt early not to stick his nose too close to the sand so as not to irritate himself. If it happened he usually just licked away the sand but Range had better ideas. Glancing over to a large heap of snow still on the edges of the beach the two-toned boy ran towards it and buried his muzzle into the white powder. It would not get rid of the sand on his nose but it would certainly stop itching. Duel coloured eyes caught his own as Range looked up at him. His whole face was wet from the snow, his ruff becoming saturated as well. Sau let out a laugh as he danced forward and licked his nephew square between the eyes.

"Oh Range, you're a funny one you are!"

Saul exclaimed as he pranced around the boy. He was having a nice time despite his morning run being interupted by the little menace. Glancing towards the tumultuous sea Saul decided not to allow the boy anywhere near it. He couldnt imagine what would happen if he lost Range to the waves. And Gideon's face if he told him. It would be aweful. However he didnt want his nephew to grow bored in his company, despite the fact that he would return him to Wolfville soon to stay there and play while Saul continued with his run. Turning back to the boy and gave him a thoughtful look before nipping his nephews flanks playfully.

"Lets build a sand castle!"

He exclaimed before bounding towards the flatter sand. It would be easy to build up a mound of sand and call it a castle- Saul was going to stay in his lupus form for this one. Expectant green eyes waited for Range to join him before dancing with mirth at his good fortune.
