Morning light filtered into the large room that the two women shared. The cold from outside slipped into the room through the large windows; winter truly was on their doorstep. Still, the cold could not penetrate through the covers that encompassed the duo of brown Dreamers. Their combined body heat was trapped beneath the covers and kept them nice and toasty warm. Even if they weren't beneath the sheets though, the Marino could not imagine ever feeling cold in this room. It was so full of color and light and life. Most importantly though, it was filled with love. A love that had been cemented moons before. The title hadn't been necessary, but they had both wanted it. They both knew that neither one wanted to spend their life without the other. There was nothing to be ashamed of. Cambria would never shy away from saying that she loved Mati Church with all her heart.
In that hazy state between sleep and wakefulness, the slender fey snuggled closer to her mate. Her scent filled her head, warming her from the inside out. The mottled fur of the other woman was soft beneath her palm, her darker arm draped across her upper stomach. How she had survived so long without Mati was a mystery to her. It was like she had been stumbling around in a dark and dreary world with only occasional bursts of light. When she had realized her true feelings for the Church fey though, the sun had come permanently to light up her life. All the darkness, if not completely gone, was not quite so dark and foreboding. Cambria would be able to make it through, as long as she had the other woman by her side. No such deep thoughts ran through her waking mind right now though. Now, she was perfectly content to simply exist in the presence of this wonderful wolf.
