History

Alyssum de Fonte was a taboo product of a coyote woman in Georgia, being the lovechild of her and her forbidden lover. The pack that she belonged in did not allow children of "tainted blood" from one not of the clan, but after pledding to the elders, the puppy was allowed to live in the pack, her life spared. Her father being that of Luperci blood, at six months she was able to shift, but the leadership declared it a defiling act of their species, deaming it unnatural. Though she seemed to comply with their orders, she still shifted in secret, and seeds of questioning formed in her mind as to why they were against this useful ability. When she was about eight months of age, her mother confessed that Alyssum was a child of a man that was not one of the pack, not one of "pure blood", and how she had to beg for her daughter's life to the elders. Enraged, she confronted the rulers, and after a brash speech of all the wrongs they were doing, they quietly told her that because of her outburst, she was to leave the pack at the moment; they feared that if she continued, she would inspired others to overthrow what they led, and if she tried to come back, she was to be killed. After a short goodbye to her mother, she left, and for a few months traveled around the southern United States. Along the way she picked up many skills, including teaching herself to read and write. One night, she came across an elderly wolf, and camped together for a day. When they were departing, he suggested for the traveler that she should go to Nova Scotia, and to join one of the clans there. Since she did not have anywhere else to go, she went where the old man gestured, and upon arriving to 'Souls, she soon joined Inferni¹. Few days after joining, she ventures to Halifax to search for books, where she meets Clove Lykoi, and they talk about how books are gateways to another world². After traveling even further south, she came across an injured bird, and with the help of Nero, she manages to secure it, naming it Darius, and decides to take care of it³. Alyssum takes a visit to the D'Neville Manison, and comes across Halo Lykoi, and after a breif exchange of greetings, they found out that they have similar interests in warfare⁴. Her, Silas, and Sepirah take a short walk around the borders⁵. The coywolf comes across Layla while scouting the borders, and she learns a little bit of healing tatics from her⁶. She meets Kaena and Kesho, and they teach her some fighting moves; she also gives Kesho a nifty scarf⁷. She comes across Tala while exploring Halifax⁸. Alyssum goes book hunting with Kesho⁹. She meets a new clan member, Itzal, and they become good friends, and decided to go hunting together soon¹⁰. She gets into a border dispute with Toklo, and though she chases him off, she basically lost the battle, sustaining a permeant wound on her shoulder¹¹. She goes hunting with Itzal, though he questions her about her injury¹². After some meditation, she leaves Inferni to further her studies, and comes across a pack that needed help against another hostile clan. There, she becomes skillful in combat, as well as gaining a steed. She fought for the pack, and soon things were resolved between to two groups. Now distracted about Inferni and her friends, she heads back to Novia Scotia, to "see how things were going".
