OOC: :3 permission granted by Erin to use pp w/Nayati <3

She was rushing to get ready, she knew when the pack ceremony was suppose to start but she’d lost track of the time, and now she was trying to ifnd the item she was suppose to sacrifice to the fire. Where did it go? She growled. It had been perfect, it was an old wooden thing that was painted blue so many years ago… exactly what it was she had no idea. But it resembled the rusted things that she’d found at the side of the roads when she wandered. Ah, there it is, the paint was chipping horribly, she wondered if it was appropriate to use this, well she’d find out and she rushed over to meet with Nayati as she promised. She found him waiting for her as patiently as ever and they headed to the fire side by side. She was glad she could be in this ceremony with him. They sat before Dawali made his speech.

Not a cause for celebration, she thought as their great chief spoke. Well that was something to know… who would want to celebrate a time of absolute cold and danger? But she blushed as he mentioned the last pack hunt where they’d taken down three of the hooved animals that would now serve as their winter meals. She was proud to have been in the hunt with Nayati, and the others, it had been such an exhilarating experience and one that she’d gladly join again. Every word the chief spoke was a powerful one, she was glad that she was his friend and not his enemy. It would be a sad day if anyone ever got him angry.
