Liliana watched and was quiet as the others trickled in, it seemed that she and Nayati were not the only couple, though she was never a real friend to Moonfyre after their first meeting, but he was glad that Ember was around, she’d never heard of the news of the woman’s pups but as she was not carrying them either in her arms nor her belly, she feared the worse, but her mind went back onto the ceremony. She listened to Dawali’s words and soon got herself up, to take part in the ceremony as she had the first time. Taking up some dirt and pooring it on the fire, to help extinguish the fire, Then sat back down and waited for the fire to be lit, as the last time, it was not long before it was roaring in flames again, watching as Dawali put in his sacrifice, she looked at his indication to the food, and smiled over at Nayati, she took her own sacrifice and tossed it into the flames, though the only real connection she had to it was it had been in the stables, it was also a part of the stables… and now it belonged to the great spirits. She heard the chief playing music and smiled at Nayati, she wasn’t much for dancing in front of others but the music itself was pleasing to the ears. She knew that she was hungry though and did find herself some food, happy to see such a variety; it was definitely a good year this year. She took her food back to her spot, but only nibbled on her food, to see what everyone else was doing. The celebration last time had been short and dispersed quickly but it seemed this one would be slightly longer, possibly in the hopes that winter would not be so harsh on them this year, she hoped the same thing, winter was not something she entirely looked forward to.
