Red Fall, Creeping Winter

Sorry if I'm a bit late. SSWM: 528

Overall Sanuye was not feeling in the ceremonial mood. True she liked seeing the members together and having fun, but in a way she felt like she was just sitting here alone, only the flames there to keep her company. Because of this feeling, she felt herself moving away from the other members and more towards the fire itself. Her silver eyes wandered their way over to the flames and just staring into them. She could feel the warmth circle around her as the time went on. The coyote closed her eyes and seemed to drift off into her own little world. She could feel the rushing wind through her fur and she just tried to connect to her spiritual self, seeing as she didn’t have much else to do. She emitted a soft sigh before opening her eyes back up and over back to the tribe. A small smile crossed her face as she watched them feasting. She figured she would be able to take some of the food for herself and then eat alone as she found she normally did. The hybrid picked herself up and looked over the food they were serving here for the ceremony, looking to see if maybe there was even anyone interested in sitting with her. It seemed she was doomed to be alone from the start. The girl picked up just a bit of food before she returned to her spot near the fire. The food was wonderful and did a short blessing to thank whoever had made the meal for the tribe. Her eyes did wander around as she was eating though most of the time kept them down towards the ground. Her ears were down and her tail was curled around her side. She watched the others interact as she waited

Something did finally catch Sanuye’s eyes. She looked up just in time to see Nayati wave to her. She forced a fake smile on her face and waved back before turning her head away and went back to her meal. She could tell from how he was acting that he didn’t catch how uncomfortable she was seeing him off with another female. She had known him for most of her life and now it just felt like he was kind of ignoring her. Once she was finished with her meal, she set it down at her feet before laying her arms and head into her lap. She was able to still see what was going on, though she tried to hide it for as long as she could. The coyote could feel her hair touch her legs as she pondered what to do. At this point, she felt it would be best for her to just go home and try to make the best out of everything before she turned in for the night. She figured she might as well just go with it until the other members began to head back home, though her eyes still remained on one pair the most, Liliana and Nayati. She wondered how close the two of them had gotten and wondered if she was the reason he was ‘ignoring’ her.
