ooc;; 10.12.10 inside the caves

So the time had come to get his own place inside this damned hell hole. They had arrived three days ago and he had been sleeping on the most uncomfortable piece of ground in the damned place. So it was time to make his own little house out of the rock. He needed somewhere close to the entrance of the Anathema cave openings- part of his role as warrior was to be on guard all the time to intruders. He needed to be able to get out and into what ever was happening quickly. However, winter had driven him back a bit- the bitter winds and snow sweeping into the cave entrances was a serious deterrent to the young man. Although only two years old, he was very sensitive to all seasons and what they could do to you. If he was too close to the door and the bitter winds prevailed throughout the year, he might end up with stiff joints or a cold. And he didnt fancy either of them.

His searchings had revealed a long slash of cave that was weaker than the rest of the walls around him. He presumed that there might be a hollowness to this patch of wall that would make it ideal for a home. So he had decided to set up home here. He would make a wooden door later that day so that it was still private. Now he just needed to figure out how to dig through the thin sheet of rock and where to put all the dust and rock chippings that came from it. All of the members of Anathema were conscious of how little air circulation they had right now. Teddy would assume it would get better once there were those trained to make the right holes in the right places. But they were all very new to this life of underground caves and they had to be patient.

It was a shame the male was not so patient when it came to where he slept. His life as a loner had been hard but he had learned quickly that you couldnt just settle for what you found. You needed to find comfy bedding to be actually able to get up and carry on in the morning. He was tall in the caves in his optime form but thankfully they weren't too low either. He had found a hammer in Halifax the other day and it rested in his hands as he stood in the tunnel with his head cocked to the side, trying to figure out the best way to do this. It took a good few seconds for the male to give up on thinking. Well muscled arms flexed as the black male raised the hammer over his head, smashing through the first bit of rock that would become his doorway to home.
