ooc;; last post for me dear! <33

Theodore had never been introduced to drugs in his youth. He had heard about these substances on his travels but he had resisted the temptation. He knew that they affected the mind and he wasnt so sure he wanted his mind to be clouded. He was always on alert, always waiting for something to happen. Because in all honesty, it always happened when he least expected it. So he had made sure that he had never been caught off guard. Of course, he was partial to a bit of alcohol now and then but nothing really excessive so that he could not stand. So when Demi began to warn him that he might get addicted a laughing huff came from his mouth. He had never been addicted to anyting in his liffe and as such didn't have an addictive personality. A shake of his head was given in her direction.

"Don't worry sweetheart, I'll be good."

He muttered, the pain of his arm making him lethargic. He wanted to curl up and go to sleep but his brain was in overdrive as he thought about all the things he had to do to get his home ready for inhabitance. He couldnt make his brain shut down for long enough to fall asleep. The shaking of a bottle caught his attention and he watched as Demi sauntered over with the sleep-inducing drugs that would mean he could switch off for a few hours. Holding his hand out he waited till she dropped one onto his palm, explaining that she would give him another in a few hours. He threw it into his mouth and swallowed whole, not liking the powdery taste that came with it. Blue eyes looked at the petite healer and smiled, a genuine and grateful smile.

"Thank you"

He said, clear and strong. However his body was beginning to feel drowsy and it wasnt long before eyelids drooped. With a grunt he leapt off the table, shifted into his lupus form and curled on the corner of a blanket. This was when he was at his most vulnerable. Curling tight in a ball was something Lochlan and he used to do to make sure that if his father came home drunk their bodies would recieve the least damage. The habit had not been broken. Squeezing his body into a tight circle, the warrior fell asleep with soft whiffling noises escaping through his nose. He was never going to let this down in Demi's eyes he knew, but he would just had to live with it.
