She didn't know why she had chosen to come back to Storm to visit. She'd been walking for a while, trying to get some sort of exercise. Her mother's newest litter had just been born, so Deuce was in the den most of the time, thus unable to accompany the Puppysitter like she usually did. Dierdre liked being in the den with her new little brothers and her mother, and babysat a lot, but sometimes she got a little stir-crazy from being underground so much.

She had been thinking about trying to make some kind of an above-ground den with some concrete from the human city...but wasn't sure if it would be all right with Tayui and Fatin. It wasn't that Dierdre didn't like the big pack den, but she wanted a little more privacy than a place like that could offer, especially now that her due date was coming nearer.

The white girl had never given birth before, had never been pregnant in the two years that she had been alive. It was certainly an experience, to feel the little souls inside of her, squirming around. She'd been wondering about how many there were. Based on the amount of movement, she had decided that there was definitely at least three of them. Three little babies.

Dierdre preferred her werewolf form over her normal wolf form usually, so that was the form that she had chosen to travel in. The weight of her belly seemed to drag her down more when she was in her normal wolf form, and it made her feel uncomfortable. This way she at least felt balanced.

The cinnamon flecked wolf passed the borders without thinking about boundaries. This place had been her home for over a year...and everyone in the pack knew her. She would be allowed in, wouldn't she? The worst thing that they could do would be to tell her that she wasn't welcomed...and if they did, then she would go without protest. She wasn't sure how much her sister and brothers knew, if they knew about what she'd done. Maybe the entire pack knew by now. But maybe they wouldn't mind seeing her again...if only to visit, and see how she was.

Her mismatched yellow and blue eyes took in the familiar surroundings as she went, all of the sights and sounds of Storm. Jaded Shadows was so different from here. It was a comfort to be back in familiar surroundings, but at the same time she was on high alert. She didn't want to run into Pilot if she could help it.
