It was beneath as large oak that she had situated herself, though Azalea had no appreciation for the serene beauty of the Dampwoods. The litter of pine needles formed a makeshift blanket beneath her, while the young girl had her notebook cracked open in her lap. She had not brought much with her, though there were two other notebooks tossed to the side, accompanied by collected pens and pencils. Gold gaze was focused intently on the pages, and her right hand moved across the paper. She took her work seriously, and so she had left behind the lands of her pack so she could find silent refuge. For now, she didn’t have much information to write down about the other packs, but she had begun to construct a map of the surrounding area. Should a need for war ever arrive, Azalea would be certain Anathema be prepared. They would not lose a fight for lack of planning and information, the girl would see to that.
For the moment, Azalea dropped her pencil and lifted her head, gold gaze scanning the area around her. She let her fingers find the top of her head, where her hair was most always secured into a bun; only two strands of hair too short to reach were left to frame her face on either side. And yet, the girl pulled at the fastening and let her onyx hair fall unfettered like a dark curtain over her shoulders, the longest of its length reaching halfway down her back. One last scan of the area revealing that she was still alone, and Azalea looked back to the notes she had already scribbled down.
