I'll be waiting here to meet you

The gentle sound of running water was soon reaching the subordinate's white, perking ears. She loved the sound of water, loved the sound of raindrops. She'd rather let it rain, than having the sun caress her back. There was something magical about the small water drops brought down by the sky. Good things came to those who would wait, and she knew she would be able to watch the sky rip open and bleed its heavenly tears down on the mortal world. Together with the finding of the river, scent from a canine was brought to her by the gentle breeze brushing across her snout. Earlier days she would have chosen a path guiding her away from whatever wolf was nearby, but times had changed, and she would change.

She quickened up her speed, but reduced it to a gentle walk when she saw the first flash of light fur. She had moved relatively quiet in her approach, but as the wolf came more and more into view, Colibri made more and more sound, obviously announcing her arrival. Both Storm and Jaded Shadows was upon the other female's pelt, and she realized it might be a trespasser she was running into. A runaway, or whatever. Time would show. Colibri would offer nothing but a friendly company. She was not the one to judge other beings. She was simply responsible of herself, and that was more than enough responsibility.

She did not utter a word, just simply stopped five feet or so away from the other, waiting for the first reaction. The first move would always tell a great deal. Colibri's pelt had yet to absurb the smell of Storm, so it was interesting to see if she too would be looked at as a trespasser. If that was the case, it would reveal the other lady's status.

Dying to meet you
