It had by rather easily, and the petite wolf spent her time lingering around packmates every so often and getting to know the lands of their home. As the days grew colder with the approach of winter, Lucia began spending more time inside her quaint little cabin, practicing every so often her growing skills with her instrument. It had been lying neglected against the wall in her home for a few short weeks, but she had recently found a renewed desire to play again within the last few days. While she was far from being an expert with her guitar, she had made much improvement with it since the day Shawchert had offered it to her, back in Halifax.

Today had been another day the girl had chosen to dedicate to practicing with her instrument. She sat within the warm confines of her cabin, switching back and forth between playing a little melody she had learned and attempting to practice more complex chords. After a while, she decided to take a break for part of the afternoon, and after glancing outside she figured a walk would do her some good. After some deliberation, she chose to bring her guitar along with her. Perhaps she could find a nice spot outside to play later on. She probably wouldn't be able to play for long out here in the cold like this, but she was determined to try nonetheless.

Her feet eventually brought her all the way out to the borders, and within moments she spotted the huge and richly decorated tree that declared the artists' claim on the land. Lucia recalled the interesting time the pack had decorating it the first day. Intricate carvings lined its width, painted signs, and colorful banners surrounding it, all declaring the name of the pack and its intentions. It stuck out like a sore thumb in the surroundings, but that was their intention. The Marino settled down beneath the large tree and laid her guitar out on her lap, idly strumming its strings as she sat.
