Were we thinking that there would be some kind of a fight? wc: 613

Since her experience with Ouija, Addison had found herself exploring the wonderful world of knives. She'd found several that had suited her in the shop that she had found the oddly colored D'Angelo in, and she had greedily taken all three. So far they had done nothing but benefit her, helping her kill her prey with ease and helping her to feel safer in her cabin. There was a dead-bolt on the door and it was within pack territory, but she often had nightmares of Inferni members creeping into the lands to come after her and finish the job that they had started. The job that one Inferni member in particular had started. Halo Lykoi.

The only downfall to the knives had been the cut that she had accidentally given herself while skinning a hare; she had been thinking of trying to fashion herself a pair of mittens out of the soft fur and hadn't been concentrating too well on the task in front of her. The cut hadn't been too deep but it had bled for a long time and had ruined the white fur that she had been trying to use. She picked at the scab on it a bit as she walked.

Grace was gone, but Addison still had one sibling left, Pripyat. Ever since she had told the young male about Inferni she had wondered if he would go and try to find it. It seemed inevitable to her; if she were a pup, she would want to go to the one place that the adults had told her was dangerous. She would think that she knew better, that she would be careful and somehow be smarter than those who had come before her. The cinnamon-hued female had followed her brother's trail outside of the lands and when it had turned northward she'd decided to track him down.

Addison had grown up a lot since her puphood, but some things remained the same with her. She was warier now but was still friendly overall, her sarcastic attitude and laid-back nature showing through now more than ever. She had never thought that she would be able to take care of a pup or that she would even want to, and now found herself craving a family of her own, perhaps one nicely behaved pup of her own if that was something that her would-be mate desired as well. She was beginning to realize the true value of a family, another reason for her to go after her younger sibling and make sure that he wasn't getting into any trouble.

The girl's feet crunched through the frozen top layer of snow as she walked north, sniffing every few moments to be sure that she hadn't lost his scent. He'd been through here very recently. As Phoenix Valley faded in the distance she couldn't help but wonder what he thought he was doing heading this way...oh, the trials of youth. Had he thought she was kidding about the dangers of Inferni? Maybe she would tell him the story of what had happened to her when she had trusted a member of that clan. She moved her hand to her scarred muzzle, frowning.

She was there before she realized it, beginning to near Inferni's borders. Her heart thudded uncomfortably in her chest and the shifted luperci reached for one of her knives, holding it in her palm. She wanted to be ready just in case. She could hear voices nearby and went toward them, trying to be discreet despite the noise that her feet were making on the frozen ground. "Pripyat?" Her alto voice called as she neared, coming out of the brush.
