A gift at the borders
#1
Even though the sky was full of grey clumps of clouds, Nian was still enjoying his walk through the more grassy fringes of the Serena Reserve. One of his duties as a Tsula Agateno was to scout around within the tribe's borders to make sure there weren't any emergencies or suspicious goings-on, and to report it if he found anything. As of yet, the young scout had not seen anything worth reporting, although he had thoroughly enjoyed his trek around the tribal lands. Even in the Winter, the Reserve was still beautiful. The open skies on the edges reminded him of home, although the weather... Well, he was going to need to find some sort of clothing soon. He was quickly discovering that his fur was not enough to keep out the season's chill.

Nian looked up and was surprised to the see the barbed wire fence that marked the border within eyesight. He had not intended to go this far out... He had not been near the border since he had been accepted into the tribe. He grinned slightly, recalling his eagerness to start proving his skills to the members of AniWaya. Things had not changed much, as here he was, setting out throughout the lands to fulfill his scouting duties... He decided to make a few circles in the area before heading back towards the village, just in case there was anything that he could report back.
