The Marino was completely focused on treating the man and was in no way picking up on the attention his eyes were giving her body. While she was concocting the paste her gaze didn't even pass over him, intent on her task. Perhaps it was her own naivety that lead her not notice the subtle signs that he found her attractive and it stirred a sinister desire in him. Cambria did not often leave the security and comfort of Crimson Dreams and no males there had ever taken that kind of interest in her. Ever since she had discovered, quite dramatically, that she was attracted to other females she could not even imagine a man wanting her in a sexual way. Such possibilities were never considered nor did they cross her mind.
So what happened as soon as she had finished applying the bandage to the man's head caught her completely unawares. Suddenly he was standing and had grabbed a tight hold on her wrist, pulling their bodies close together. Cambria's heart stalled in her chest and her eyes grew wide, a look of terror crossing over her face. Her first instinct told her that he wished to do her harm, but as his husky voice called her beautiful and one of his large hands came to stroke her face his true intentions became clear. Cambi began to tremble out of fright and when his mouth came down to search hers out her head turned away and she tried to pull back from his grasp. "N-no, p-p-please!" she stuttered out, tears coming to her eyes.
