A lone wolf made the trek back to Dalhousie University. This time, however, Davyn was looking for only a few things, and they would be small enough to fit in his pack, if her could find what he was initially looking for. On his list was parchment, along with some books on spells. He wanted to pick up his birth religion once more, and needed some reminders on how it was all done. The parchment he had a very specific use for; he wanted to draw out his newfound companion, record her beautiful image, perhaps to give to her as a gift at some point in their growing friendship. He smiled gently; his new friend had made his heart a lot warmer than when he had first joined the pack of Phoenix Valley.
He stepped into the shelter of the library, pausing as he stared in awe at the massive amount of books towering over his head. He shifted to Optime form, to better reach the books that he needed to look for. He hoped that the abandoned university library would have at least a small collection of books regarding Wicca; perhaps a reminder of the religion would spark memories forgotten. He grimaced. It wasn’t that he necessarily wanted to remember; it was that Davyn knew if he didn’t find some way to remember the memories, good and bad, he would lose his family forever.
Davyn did not expect anyone to be in the deserted library; very few wolves that he had ever met had shown an interest in adopting the human customs in their entirety. He browsed shelves upon shelves, and finally found a small section dedicated to the practice of Wicca, and he eagerly grabbed as many books as he could hold, dragging them to a nearby table to sit down and immerse himself in the knowledge the books offered.
