Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again

Davyn sat back, falling into the teacher mode that felt so familiar and yet so strange to him. He thought about what his mother had taught him when he had first shown an interest in Wicca. She had taught him much, and then he had struck out on his own, taking her lessons with him.

"The goddess has three forms. The maiden is the youngest of these forms, represented by some as a crescent moon with the points directed towards the left of the diagram." As he spoke, he drew the first symbol on a piece of parchment. "The second form is the Mother, represented by a full moon in the center of the diagram. The third, though the oldest, is perhaps the wisest, as she is the Crone, bearer of the knowlege of her previous forms. She is represented by the crescent moon, pointing the opposite way of the Maiden." The familiar movement of drawing his Lady's symbol soothed him, made the teaching easier.

"Although Wicca is based on the worship of the Goddess, there is also a God. He is mainly based on the need for fertility and crops, represented by the sun." Davyn drew out a sun, beside the diagram of the Goddess and her moons. He made eye contact with her, trying to convey his knowledge.

"In all the teachings that I learned, the foremost was the Wiccan Rede, which is essentially the law of Wicca.
