Her jaws dug into meat and retrieved it with elegance beyond his, though the young male was oblivious and uncaring about the way she devoured her meal. His form remained cautious of hers, for she remained a hostile creature for a few more moments in this scene, as he dug his young fangs into something that rightfully belonged to her. Never would he have shown such recklessness in the presence of his Lykoi matriarch, but those days had passed and would forever be gone. He had separated himself from everything; drawn a bright, fresh maroon line of spilled heart that should not ever be crossed. Today, he was someone else; something closer of what he thought he wanted to be, in the future.

Words brought a different hue to his wary gaze, but several seconds had dared to pass before he even considered dignifying the adult with a response. Blonde ears pointed forwards, slowly, and with little edible remaining on his part of the torn apart creature, he found that it would not require sacrifice to allow his own voice to rise, finally. Who was he? An outcast with a flawed core, burning bright amidst a sea of black. Lips fell and disguised blood stained fangs as he amended his hostile profile, though gaze would remain vary in her presence. Tongue leaped out in pursuit of the sticky liquid adorning his muzzle. ”Itachi,” he breathed, head low and close to his growing form.

This was a wolf of his alliance, so he supposed he would have to do better at communicating with her. ”Lykoi.” He was no longer counted as one, but his blood could not be altered and rid of the royal blue. It was a name he would remain proud to bear, as it would always be part of his identity.
