She could only vaguely recall what the mountain had looked like in the summer, whether it'd been snow-covered or not. Right now that was the main component that she could see; snow, snow, and more snow. Climbing the other side of it to return to 'Souls territory had been pretty rough, but there were areas on this side of it that didn't seem as bad. Naniko had explored as much of the mountain top as she could with the snowy barriers and had managed to reach the other side of it a few days prior. The pack was growing, and she had needed to scout beyond their borders to decide what land she wanted to claim. Naniko wasn't a greedy wolf and wouldn't claim more than what she felt they could maintain. She'd have to put the Zepars to use.

Today she was looking at the territory on the other side of the mountain, toward the other packs. She wasn't very knowledgeable about what other packs were out there yet, not having left the territory for any more than 24 hours at a time, but recognized the peculiar scent of AniWaya as she traveled through the border. She had passed through lands surrounding that territory in the past and recognized this as the same scent that had covered Tayui and Attila when they had first come to Anathema.

She approached quietly, peering through the trees. Whoever had come hadn't crossed into the border, a sign of respect, and she appreciated that greatly. She spent a lot of time marking the borders and keeping them up, for one thing, and there was the pack's safety to think about, for another. She had enough trouble keeping her son Scorpius within the pack lands already without having to worry about foreign wolves coming in. She'd come across her Dasa Theodore fighting against a trespassing stranger just a week or so before.

Dawali was sitting on a rug with a horse tied to a nearby tree. Naniko cleared her throat to announce her presence as she neared, aware that her white pelt often made her blend into her surroundings. She didn't want to scare him off. She recognized him from the past but the amount of drugs that she had been taking and had taken just hours before blurred her memory. She recalled his name and connected Aniwaya with him, so she would treat Dawali civilly and with respect. "Hello there" She greeted him. Naniko was shifted into her tall optime form today, hair kept back in a long silver braid as usual. The only thing that she wore was a thin weapons belt, upon which three daggers were strapped. "What are you doing out here, Dawali?"
