After Amata finished shifting and gave her that look, Savina walked out of the manor and into the shadows of the night, her pelt blending in perfectly with the darkness. Her daughter was a different story, shining like a beacon in the night, the moon giving the cream fur a luminescent look. The Sadira girl was beautiful, and it was no wonder now to the mother that some slimy man had taken advantage of her heart. Males had done many things to capture lesser beauties, if only for a night. She let these thoughts and worries slip away though as her daughter began to speak of her adventures outside the Dreaming lands. It was a little surprising to hear that Amata had actually left the peninsula on occasion, and made the Italian fey all the more happy that she had finally settled back at home.

Healing other animals wasn't a completely foreign concept to her. Naniko had done some of that, when she had still been the woman Savina had trusted and cared for, and of course all the pack knew of how Cambria had cared for the injured dove she had found that was now her companion. "I can imagine not all would want a wolf approaching them," she said nodding. Most smaller beasts could easily be prey to a wolf and all their instincts told them this. Such natural feelings were difficult to override. The image of her daughter trying to help a chipmunk that was sure she wanted to devour it was an amusing image, and the woman laughed along with her child. "Hopefully once you were finished it thanked you, at least." Savina doubted this had been the case, but it was a nice thought anyway.

The mother and daughter continued to walk into the night, speaking of all the things Amata had seen and done while she had been absent. It did the mother good to reconnect with her firstborn girl, and she hoped that their time together had a similar effect upon her progeny.
