Alder watched as the female brushed herself off, and then averted his eyes as he figured that he was staring. He looked at the horse, watching his expression and smiling with contentment. Blue eyes looked back at her face as she spoke, and his smile faltered only slightly as he nodded once. Good, she was okay. He didn't really know what he would have done if she was hurt, the only healer that he knew of was back in Crimson Dreams, and the newly ranked Cours wolf could not venture back there just yet.
The horse's movement caught his attention once more, and Alder stood his ground as the stallion took a few steps closer. The female scolded him, and Alder laughed lightly right along with her. He didn't mind at all, and was far from frightened by the horse's approach. He could tell that it was friendly, the look on his face, the placement of his ears, they all spoke to him. Yet it was the energy that Alder felt that passed between all creatures that told him it was friendly. A black furred hand reach out to could the pale nose of the stallion, Thats okay. He spoke to the fey, catching her eye as he tried to pet the horse.
She explained that she had not been riding, and though he wondered it Alder did not ask how she fell. He knew how this form could feel unbalanced at times, it was easy to tumble over. Oh He replied. He didn't know of too many that walked their horse instead of ride, but the boy was open to the idea of it. Who was he to say? The large wolf was unsure if he would ever ride a horse, his size made him worry for the back of the creatures and he thought that perhaps he would simply walk beside them just as she did.
Alder, of Cour des Miracles. It was the first time he had given the new title, and it felt odd on his tongue. He was no long of Crimson Dreams, and the youth needed to grow content with that truth.
