Only Ruins

Itzal had wandered down here by accident. He did not even know about Halifax. But he had been wandering. It is amazing how much he did that. And he had stumbled upon it. And then, he just had to explore it.

He was amazed at what had happened. This use to be a great, human city once. He was sure that no one among them he ever forseen THIS happening. It was in ruins. That was all that was left. Only ruins. It was almost mind blowing to think that the disease that had given him the ability to walk on two legs, had also destroyed the people that had once walked these streets. He stilled sometimes he trouble coping with what he was. But at others times he was happy about it. But when he saw stuff like this, he just did not know what to feel.

He walked through the street on two legs in Optime. He had shifted to this form to see whether or not he could feel and see what those humans had so long ago. He did not know much about humanity, or how they had lived their lives, But something told him, that even the most horrible of humans would not have wished this upon each other. No, this was something else. The power to wipe out an almost overwelhming population of a species was amazing, powerful, and scary. And at the same time, it had made a new species, or new type, one that he was a part of. Amazing, and horrifying, that was all he could think of to describe it.

Itzal stopped walking down the street and stood in the middle of it, looking around. It was starting to get late. He was not sure if he would make it back to the inferni land before total night time set in. He would either have to turn back now, or sleep out here..... He debated for a while, then kept walking down the road, heading for a little house that still looked some what intact. He could wait in there for night time before he went out exploring some more.
