The woman was open, as open as a book to him. Maybe it was because both Bartholomew and Mars looked the same, maybe she just liked Mars that much. It made Bartholomew think of Krystalle. She was missed, this was for sure, and maybe this was Mars' way of showing that. By making a friend who was like Bart's friend in some ways. Krystalle was a true artist though. She pretty much grew up in the city of art, and that all her life was art. This woman, Bartholomew didn't know. All he knew was that she was a writer, just like his own Krystalle. Bart listened to her symptoms though, but didn't particularly know what it could have been really. He kept the symptoms at the back of his head and he thought about any remedies that he might know. None came to mind right off the top of his head but he looked around the book case to see the woman and opened his mouth to speak. Mars might know something, so I'll talk ta him about it. the man spoke, nodding his head lightly and smiling to the woman before disappearing behind the bookcase again.
Bartholomew listened to the rest of what the woman had been talking about, her telling him that she liked the fantasy novels the best. The man found a rather curious story that he could have sworn that he had seen before (really he was only remembering that Mars read this book) and he picked it up. The title read "Sinbad". Bart picked it out and trotted back over to Orin, who was laying on her desk, looking as if she was tired. Bart gave a gentle smile, and then he opened his maw to speak again. Sinbad teh sailor. I thinkitsa good one. the man spoke to her before he walked over and he sat down on the ground in front of the desk. He then opened the book and flipped through the first few blank pages and to the first page of the book. Ya'ready? He asked,his steel eyes looking up at the woman and a smile beaming on his face. Once the approval was given, the man would nod his head lightly before he would start to read the book to the woman.
