Here we go, time for the sparks to fly Big Grin He's only really sulking, but that's a good enough reason in his books to be a rude, miserable, little boy :p

It’s strange how one can change so quickly, things you believed to be set in stone are really only structures of sand. Alaki had believed that he could not speak nor socialize with other, all of his previous attempts lead him to freezing up or a disastrous misunderstanding. But recently his ability to do so had greatly improved with his crossing paths with various characters. He also came to understand that although he may now posses the skills to speak to others he did not like socializing… Nor did he like others all that much either.

Solitude is what he enjoyed best. Packs, friends and companionship offered some comforts, yes, he could see why others choose to spend their time in the company of another, but with those benefits came downfalls, everyone held expectations and they spend their time with those who boost their confidence: the kind friend who tells you everything will be okay, the not-so-good looking friend that boosts your confidence in your own appearance. It was ridiculous, everyone only approached those they could benefit from, and they always approach with an ulterior motive, a need. Well, Key had nothing to give and had nothing he wished to receive so he stuck close to his lonely path of solitude, it was safe, certain, no surprises.

The wind picked up, tossing his dark coat in random directions, its cold salty breeze stinging Key’s eyes. Slowly, in a sloppy, lazy movement he slumped onto his side, sheltering half of his body from the strong ocean winds. After stumbling across the small rocky outcrop on one of his previous travels he had fallen in love with the quiet place. The Quartz Shoreline was close to his packs territory, he could easily slip in and out when he wished to spend time alone. Just ahead he could see the water moving in and out across the clear sands, just sand, rocks and the moving water. Maybe it was the simplicity of the place that he enjoyed the most, nothing was hidden; there were few shadows, and no complications.

But even sitting around here seemed to do little to lift his low mood, he’s spent time with others which he did not dislike nor like. If anything the whole experience had exhausted him, which was the reason behind his solitude escape. But being alone with just his thoughts had dragged his mood to an all time low.

“Why do I bother? Life would be so much more simpler if I had just kept to myself” he paused, considering his words then rolled over onto his back, kicking up sand. “Arugh, that wasn’t working in the first place, that’s why I sought out a pack, baka baka baka.” He rose to his feet and with it his volume rose “God dammit, why is everything so darn complicated!” He fell back down to his stomach, paws over his muzzle. The wind picked up again, this time he remained still, simply lying there sulking and mulling over his situation.
