How did you learn/hear about ‘Souls?: Pure luck.
The male sat silently on the ledge of Halcyon Mountain. His thick fur smelled of smoke, much of it due to the fact that some large piece of land off in the distance had literally burnt to the ground. Then again, Anu always smelled like smoke. His legs dangled over the side as the male inhaled the scent that was oh-so-familiar to him.
Anu was edgy this sunny Thursday morning, his golden eyes surveying the area around him. The moment he’d caught wind of the horrible fire, he had expected that the residents of the area would be headed this way. Since the occurrence, Anu had spent his days high on Halcyon Mountain, watching silently for signs of any newcomers.
It hadn’t taken long. Within a day the rather quiet, peaceful area was overcome by a new community. He’d seen all kinds of creatures from strange-looking Luperci to an entire group of coyotes. It appeared that they intended to make this area their new home. It didn’t matter either way to Anu. As long as he had his alcohol and his drugs, he could care less who came to town.
And so they came.
