Jace was deep in thought as she ran from the not-wolves, thinking to herself that she should look before she leaped over any more strange boundaries, as their paws ate up the miles together, not knowing where they were headed or why. With her now she carried a sense of pride in herself, they may not have won the stand-off with the infirni border guards but they made it out alive and uninjured.
Her ears perked when Temo began to slow, and she slowed down herself, her sides heaving from the huge distance they had traveled in such a short time, she sniffed at the air and detected a faint tang of salt and sand as well as a coldness that she noticed was seeming to get closer. She looked over at Temo as he looked at her and thought about their escape, it bringing a smirk to her face, then a small chuckle to her lips until she was rolling around on her back, as she giggled hysterically at the madness of it all.
