"Ahhh, I see." Temo replied, followed by a quiet chuckle. His eyes follow her as she goes and pounces on her snack. He looks around and doesn't see any other rabbits, which was just as well as the incident also had chased his appetite away. Even the smell of blood and fresh meat did not spark his appetite.
He glanced at Jace as she brought her catch over and started eating it. Then turning his head, he studied their surroundings. The hills off in the distance with mountains further behind them. The plains of grass that they had just traversed across and no plans of going back that way. After a while, when she was done with her snack, he asked Jace, "Now that we know where NOT to go, where should we head off to now?"
