If it's worth saving
#4
A vicious lash of flames erupted from the coals before dying back down to smolder against the damp wood. It wouldn’t be long before a fully fledged fire would break out and the shop would go up in flames. Saluce lay there, the helpless creature he was, totally dependent on whomever came to help him. Some soft moans would escape his lips as he slipped in and out of consciousness.

His eyes opened briefly as the woman tried to free him, and he knew something was wrong but couldn’t get his thoughts together to wake himself. –Was someone in trouble? Did he need to wake to help some soul who needed his help?- The thought alone almost helped him, the stubbornness of the male kicking into fight whatever blackness that laid on his mind like a immovable object. Just how long could he fight to regain consciousness?

A brief window opened in his mind as his eyes flew wide awake, surveying the scene, finding him trapped, instantly adrenaline pumped through his veins. His muscles tensing, the fire lighting under his ass to move whatever object it was keeping him from saving someone. Not knowing it was indeed himself that was the one who needed saving and that thought never crossed his mind.
