The chill of the air was not something he wanted to put up with right now. Even though the jeans and jacket kept his body fairly warm there was still a chill in the air the went straight to his bones every time the wind blew making him grumble and cuss in annoyance. For now he headed up and along the mountain side, sticking his head into the odd cave to listen for any animals that were hiding. The longer it took the less the coy-dog wanted to be outside. The snow was deep and it took all his effort to move along the freezing mountain side. Why had he even agreed to help these stupid wolves out? They could just wait until the spring time to go searching for animals to tame. This was just some stupid hippy , love everything shit that he no longer wanted to do.

Turning around after searching for too long something unusual caught the dark dogs attention. A faint sound of sorts could barley be made out on the mountain side. Perking his ears straight up Giuseppe looked rather ridiculous, as his ears were noticeably longer than any wolf or coyote, a trait he had earned from his father's side. Luckily his long ears came in handy when tracking down the sounds. Stepping out of the cold wind and into a dimly sun lit cave it the noise became frantic as a herd of mountain goats 'bah'ed their way past the canine.

A smile grew on his face as the Trovato was reminded of his home in Italy where he would often spend his time competing with his fathers gang of criminals. More than a couple of times they had released a group of sheep into an arena and seen how many sheep each person could rope. Knowing that he wouldn't be able to carry the few goats he caught, the male would have to resort to just getting the rope around their little necks. Slipping the rope to the ground he instinctively started work.

Shortly after roping the three goats he had managed to separate from the running herd Giuseppe had started back home, a grin on his face. Sometimes he wished he could return home but maybe he could still do the ranching things here. Leading the struggling goats was difficult but he was sure it would be worth it when he could sink his teeth into one of their throats. With one strong tug the goats reluctantly moved a few more steps. It was then that the dark minded canine stopped dead in his tracks. There in the snow was horse tracks that had not been there before.

Squinting he looked into the light fog trying to see the horse that had let the marks. Quickly he found a near by cave and tied the goats around a rather large rock before taking a rope into his hand and starting back into the cold in search of the animal. Winning in the distance lead him straight towards a sad sight. A young horse, looking to be just past the yearling stage, was standing perfectly still and had obviously been outside for some time. Looking around there was no sign of a heard.

Ranch animals were one thing that Giuseppe felt a connection with. In his entire puphood he had been rejected by everyone but his fathers criminals and the animals on the ranch. Making a loop with the rope he whirled it in the air before flinging it swiftly over the colts neck. The struggle was only halfhearted as the coy-dog pulled him into the cave and took a better look at him. The young horse was thin with hunger but nothing that a few good meals wouldn't take care of. It was a nice color of brown with a shaggy black mane growing on it's head and a thick white stripe down the middle of its nose.. From the looks of it the male horse was of training age and soon would be ready to carry a passenger. His pack mates would be pleased with the stallion and tree goats. Untying the goats he began to head for Anathema.
