Futoji had been traveling by himself for four months and he was tired of constantly being on the run. He sighed as he stepped through the cold snow, his limp acting up more than usual. He stopped for a moment, taking a break. A cold breeze blew in his face and with it he smelt wolves. He took a deep breath in through his nose, yes, it was definatly a pack land. He loped gently towards the scent. He stopped at the borders of the land and took a deep breath, he knew exactly what to do. It was something he had been practicing for the past two months. He tucked his tail in between his legs, not so far that it curled against his stomach but enough so it was hidden away. He flattened his ears and crouched low to the ground. He lowered his gave and then let out a long and loud howl.

He smiled, maybe he would finally find a new home. He let himself shiver fromt the cold once more before he collected himself and did his best not to show his coldness. He scanned the area, looking for paws, seeing none he smelt the air again. There was no sceant approaching him yet and he hoped that it would not be long until someone came, and he hoped that they would accept him into the pack. He went over in his head what he would say and waited excidedly for someone to come to the borders to greet him.
