Perfectly fine, and sorry for the length Big Grin

She shivered lightly on the floor, back leaning against the wall beside the largest window in the house. It nearly reached the ground and had the best view of the outstretching beach. The girl breathed in a shaking breath and let it cloud the glass. A smile pressed its self up on the corners of her mouth, forming a gentle grin that was barely visible. Finger slid in the fog until the outline of a heart clearly showed the storm already raging through the window.

The smile disappeared and Ever turned away from the scene and hugged herself up against the wall. It was so cold. She could still feel the frozen air on her finger from the glass. Snow and wind battled each other outside and occasional slammed into the house, causing it to creak and moan in pain. It was rather ridiculous for the girl to be sitting only in a blanket on the wood floors, instead of in bed. But staring out the window was a habit as soon as it became too cold to leave her home.

She played with a strand of hair that kept revisiting her sight but ended of clutching the blanket tighter and sighing quietly. Where was he? The question had faded every one of her smiles since the storm started. Was he lost? Injured? More thoughts that made her heart flutter. Ever simply didn’t know what to do in his absence, and ended up on the floor wrapped in blanket.

Then she heard the howl. Ever pricked her ears and concentrated through the thunder like sounds of wind. Her heart raced and she could feel the sweat on her palms. But it wasn’t Ezra’s. It still worried her and she stood and pressed her hands against the window, listening. Suddenly, the door swung open and rebounded with a gentle bang off the wall. She jumped and spun around, only to find her mate.

Ever took his hands and warmed them between hers, attentive to what he had to say. She was relieved to hear no one was injured, yet. As the black male whisked around the home gathering items of warmth, the girl lingered by his side for a moment, still holding one of his hands. But she slipped away quietly after a moment, finally assured he was alright, and went to gather a few of her own things.

She only decided upon a few containers that could hold water and a basket to put everything in. Hands grabbed the few blankets they had that Ezra found and placed them gently in the basket. Ever also grabbed a sweater from her clothes chest before they left, of course noting Ezra’s clothless body.

Lets go,

Ever said, voice shaking. She held onto his side frightfully as they wandered through the storm, never breaking her grasp. His warmth was familiar and helped take her mind off the mysterious issues. Her feet led most of the way, since she had been to the hotel before, but fear of being lost overwhelmed her and Ezra eventually had to take over. The second call helped them arrive.

The girl let the boy usher her into the warm building where she placed the basket on a table and greeted the familiar bodies inside.

Hello, Vigilante, Haven, Ayita,

The silver youth said quietly, with a shy smile. She gathered her clothing, only to frown when she discovered it was soaked through. It ended up slumped on the table to dry.
