Out of Character

Sorry for the wait Matt. Ugh I suck.

In Character

Life had seemed to creep along at an unnaturally slow pace the days preceding the discovery of her sister. Afterwards, after the endless snowstorm and the broken glass home and blood and screaming man, it seemed to move all too quickly. The days she spent wandering Dahlia de Mai seemed unclear and blurred, as if they played too quickly and the two toned woman couldn't remember their content. Maybe it was better not to remember the content, as the reunion between her and Nayru wasn't as Farore had hoped. There was a weird tension still, between Gideon and Farore, after the situation had been sorted out, but Farore was uncertain if it was unfriendly or too friendly or just what. And although Nayru was alive and well there was a tension there too. Although Farore was unwilling to abandoned them both, she was also unwilling to submerge herself into their lives, for clearly they had lives before her arrival and who was she to barge in and disrupt them?

Her sister remained in the green house, checked in upon by Gideon and herself, although the woman refused to see anyone else, as far as Farore knew. Or no one had come to try and see her at least. Farore often kept vigil outside of the green house, as Nayru preferred solitude and her withdrawl was a little concerning. Although perhaps she was always this withdrawn, it was hard to say when Farore realized that although she felt familiar at once with Nayru, she really didn’t know her sister at all. It was almost as if her sister was a phantom occupying the greenhouse but nowhere else, not even in the minds of the others. When no one came to be chased away by Farore, and Nayru did not try to leave or seem in need of assistance, the girl with the eye patch and ink dipped tail gave up her post and took to surveying the pack and the destruction still left over by the storm.

The best ruins could be found in the two towns of Dahlia de Mai, and it was here Farore discovered the forge, or what was left of it. It was also here she discovered another member of Dahlia de Mai, knowing only Gideon and Nayru up until this point. The others were too busy trying to rebuild their lives for Farore to impose herself upon them, try to explain herself to them. Yet she wouldn't stay a secret forever. Nayru might be able to live like a ghost but Farore could not and when she saw the man standing amoung the rubble she had to approach. When she approached closely enough she had no other choice but to speak, and over the snow covered landscape her low and chilly carried easily, sure to reach the other's ears. "Hey there."
