Eyes wandered up to the top of his head and Farore realized that the bandaged head hadn't seemed strange or out of place to her. She had hardly noticed it at all. And yet the man mentioned that he retained no memories, so if he had known Nayru, he did not now. While it was a serious subject, and surely nothing to laugh at, the light hearted woman couldn't help herself. Another girlish giggle came to her, his answer of maybe, his pointing to the bandage. Would he take offense? Perhaps, but the girl didn't care so deeply. Yet she murmured an apology in her low voice, it came out naturally and neatly. "I'm sorry. My sister sports such headwear as well." And how many other wolves had something tumble on their head? Farore imaged many of Dahlians walking about like half wrapped mummies and again a light, private laugh escaped her.
Yet for as funny as she found it, she knew it to be sad. Nayru had nearly lost her life with the amount of blood that had escaped her. And this man was memory-less. How would that feel? Farore imagined forgetting her parents, Din, Nayru and anything that had ever mattered to her. The thought terrified her, until she realized that if she did forget, she wouldn't feel she was missing anything. How can one miss something that they could name or imagine? Her thoughts would have continued in such a manner but the brute spoke again, and Rore tilted her head gently at the introduction.
"Saluce?" The name was repeated, the second constant raising higher in a questioning manner. And then she grinned, forgoing any formalities of head bows or hand shakes or anything of the sort. They seemed past that, or perhaps she imagined it so. Either way she had little use for such traditions unless the other required them. Simply she answered him, "Farore. Is my name." and she waited for him to make the next move, simply standing and smiling, accepting the interactions for what they were worth.
