He'd been complaining the entire way about her near-uncontrollable need to be clean. Inadvertently, it was a product of her environment, and age. To garner some sort of control of her yet-unmanageable life, she felt the need to control herself in any way possible. Personal hygiene was just one way to do so. Turning her orange gaze toward the darkening path that seemed to go on forever, Agony leaned away from her father, who was attempting to pick her up. Tired feet or not, she simply refused to be helped in any way. This was her walk to make, not his. Huffing lightly at him, she continued onward, plodding ahead with a fierce determination. She'd been told once by a now nameless, faceless individual, that she was an old soul, a reincarnation of someone wise; a leader. Somewhere along the line of her miserably short life it'd been taken to heart, and now she refused anyone telling her otherwise. Ravesque would be no different. Seeing sense wasn't an option.
Traveling from New Brunswick had taken far longer than she'd anticipated, yet she hadn't complained, not once. Leaving the cult that had killed her mother was important, to leave behind the destruction that she couldn't quite understand. Their reasoning was beyond her, she didn't have all the facts necessary to make an accurate assumption. She was apathetic. Further and further into the mountain they wound, following the scents that were gradually strengthening. Ultimately she was stopped by a tangible force, her father, and she obeyed. She felt it too, the need to wait. Where she couldn't, her father picked up, calling for a leader, someone to come speak to them. The dusty child waited eagerly for the following events to unfold, staring.
