The snowstorm had really provoqued serious damages. Two wolves had resulted injured (slade and somebody else), some of the animals that some people had as pets escaped, and some people's homes had been destroyed. But what worried her the most was the fact that two females --Orin and Valinta-- where pregnant. Pregnant! Sankara couldn't imagine how it had been for them; to stand those harsh days whith small creatures depending on them.
But Sankara had suffered a loss too. The hunting Lodge had been damaged, and even though she only kept one drawing among with some paper and her bag there, it was also a shelter to hide whenever the day was too cold. Now she didn't have a temporary shelter nor a place to store her stuff. That morning she had woken up and walked towards said place. And when she arrived, she saw the place partially covered by snow, with pieces of the building either missing or fallen. She had managed to enter and rescue her stuff. The things where in good condition. So Sankara took them and left. She had to talk to Shawchert. She would need help for what she had in mind. She wanted to build herself a shelter up with logs and...maybe rocks?
Sankara pondered about it as she walked towards Thornsbury, carrying her bag on her mouth. Some of the stores where abandoned, and she would be able to keep her stuff there for some time. Something catched her eyes as she passed by some fallen trees. The trees had fallen one against the other, so it formed a small cave. Sankara noticed it, and the idea of using it as a temporary refuge popped out on her mind. She walked towards it and slid under the arch that both trees formed. Inside there was enough space for her to huddle confortably. She left her bag outside and huddled. Yes, it had the perfect meassures for her. She sighed as she leaned against one of the tree trunks, but it creaked, what made Sankara panic. She jumped on her feet, what made the trees creak again, because even though the space was enough for sankara to huddle inside, it wasn't all enough for her to be on her feet. All that Sankara percieved since then was more creaking before a weigh fell on her back. She let out a loud whimper, of surprise as well as of pain.
The tree had fallen on top of her, luckly another tree supported the other one, so it didn't squashed her completely. But the pressure was still enough to hurt her ribcage. Sankara struggled on a failed try to get free. She thought on swifting, but it would take too much time, and she could hear the other tree creaking, ready to break under it's brother's weigh. So all what sankara could do was to ask for help.
"HEEELP!! PLEASE!! HELP!!" Her voice came out too weak. Her ribcage was now aching and she couldn't breathe very well, so she filled her lungs with air as much as she could and howled. The howl was mixed with a whine, and she hoped that somebody could hear it...
