The days were coming together too quickly, he had a lot on his mind, the puppies that were soon to be born to Orin, and then the whole snow storm fiasco. They were still cleaning up after it. In fact today he could be seen repairing the stables, though it had been temporarily fixed, he decided it was best to get it back into real working shape it would do no good to have sick animals on their hands from the chill they have been getting lately. He had some boards out and ready to do a patch up job, he would really fix as many buildings as he could come spring, but patch up jobs did wonders and he knew that cosmetics were for those who could afford such things. The pack could not yet. They were close to many things, as they were growing still and the herds have not come back yet. It had been a hard winter on him as he tried to provide for not just the two women he’d felt attached to in one way or another. Orin because she was carrying his children, and Sky for his love for her. She’d just lost a litter, along with Valinta, which saddened him as well, but she knew the father was there for her, and he could do only so much to help her. He did not like seeing Sky unhappy though, and he had been thinking now for days… what she meant by a human wedding.
He was getting distracted from his work again thinking about this stuff. Shaw frowned at himself as he looked at the stables, which was not getting done because of his distant thoughts. He marked a few places he needed to cover up and started working, the banging of the hammer reverberated off the walls of the houses, though a lot of work had been done in the town lately, so he knew that it would be a common noise to any that heard it.
