The blue hued leader had been studying a necklace - Fia hadn't seen one very closely before, but this one was very beautiful. The stones glittered and glistened as the woman turned it in her hands, her eyes concentrated on it with what seemed to be a strange and almost eerie intensity. Fia wondered what she was thinking - what was so important about a necklace, anyway?
Fia didn't know why Anu was staring at the necklace with such intensity, but she wasn't dumb - she knew that several bad things have happened to the pack because of the storm or just because of bad luck. Denali had seemingly disappeared, Artemis had gone into a deep sleep that she wouldn't wake up from, and Alder, Anu's own son, had left as well. Fia didn't know the details, but she did know that Anu must be worried about her masked son, and maybe wondering where he was now.
The girl had no time to think on the topic any more, however, as she gazed up at the tall woman and Anu gave a small, startled jump, her hand racing to her heart. Fia's ears dipped back a bit - she hadn't meant to scare the woman, only give her a little surprise! Her ears bounced right back again, however, when warm eyes met the girl's turquoise ones, and one of the leaders of Crimson Dreams gave her a kind smile and mentioned a greeting.
And suddenly, all former thoughts were wiped from her mind as Anu mentioned one word that the black and white pup loved so much - game! Immediately, her small puppy tail started to wag, and her ears perked forward. "That sounds great!" she said excitedly. She paused for a moment, trying to think of a game that would be fun to play, but not make Anu's sickness get worse. "I know!" the pup quipped, thinking of a game she liked to play with Tony and Lorenzo - she was very good at it, too, especially when they played outside in the snow. "Let's play hide and seek!"
