Anu had been around the block enough times to know that there was a certain way Hide and Seek needed to be played. But Anu still gasped slightly at the pups remarks, Ohhhh, I understand now. She said, finally putting her hands on her face and then beginning to count to ten. She did so slowly, and tried not to think about the pup that was running off to hide in the manor. But, as a mother and a past pupsitter it was hard for her ears not to follow the scrambling steps of the Dreaming puppy.

Finally, the woman came to the fateful ten and took her paws off her face to look around and see if she could pick up the trail of Fia.
