Blue eyes blinked, and she turned around slowly to see if the puppy was still close. It was only natural for her to search with her nose and Anu walked around the room twice before realizing that she would not find her hiding here. But the older wolfess took her time, remembering that she had heard paw steps on the wooden stairs that would lead her to the common areas of the Manor. She wandered down the hall, calling lyrically as she peered around. Fia..... Her voice rang, paws stepping slowly and Anu looked in each open room before descending down the stairs.
Playing along Anu turned to the kitchen, though the scent was clearly not traveling in that direction. Where are you?! Anu sang again, opening cabinets and making them bang as she turned to the living room. She stood beside the couch, then moved to the old tattered curtains and swept them to the side. Gotcha! She yelled, but then gave a defeated, Oh. when there was no pup found behind them. Anu placed her finger on her nose, tapping it lightly as she looked around the room and pondered the hiding place of a pup. Then, her eyes caught the odd lump on the plush couch. She paused, silently, and smiled. An idea came to her, and she gave a dramatic sigh and then sat with a flop onto the opposite side of the couch. I'll never find her. She said with a huff, eyes not watching the pup-shaped lump.
